Casey's Partners with Trio Of College Stars on NIL Deal to Combat Hunger

Jonas Aidoo, Devo Davis, Gabbie Marshall are part of Casey's campaign to fight food insecurity

Three basketball players will help fuel meal donations by Casey’s through a Name, Image and Likeness deal that is part of a larger push to provide 10 million meals for those facing food insecurity.

The three players involved in the deal are Tennessee’s Jonas Aidoo, Arkansas’s Devo Davis and Iowa’s Gabbie Marshall.

As part of the drive, Casey’s will donate 50,000 meals to Feeding America, and up to 1 million total, for every dunk by Aidoo, every steal by Davis and every 3-pointer by Marshall.

Aidoo touts partnerships with Urban Outfitters, ZIPS Car Wash and Dunkin’, the last of which is part of Team Dunkin’.

Davis has recent deals with FAB&T and 103.7 The Buzz.

Marshall is connected to a partnership with UScellular and has her own line of signature merchandise through Iowa’s NIL store as she stars for the women’s basketball team.

Casey’s and Celsius have teamed up on the partnership with Feeding America, and since 2020 Casey’s and Feeding America have donated 30 million meals around the country, with an emphasis on the Midwest and the south.

“Casey’s is at the heart of local communities across our footprint,” said Ena Williams, Chief Operating Officer at Casey’s. “As food insecurity remains a real challenge, particularly in the rural communities we serve, we are taking meaningful action to help families in need.”

Casey’s is based in Ankney, Iowa. Guests at Casey’s can round up at the register to help the effort, and those funds will support Feeding American food banks in the 17 states where Casey’s operates.

Those that order at Caseys.com can also donate to the effort.

Through the partnership, Celsius is donating 250,000 meals.

The fund-raising effort ends on April 2.
