LSU Star Reese Gifts Beats by Dre Headphones Through NIL Deal

Angel Reese hands out headphones to LSU women's and men's basketball teams

LSU women’s basketball star Angel Reese used one of her Name, Image and Likeness partners to hook up the Tigers’ women's and men’s basketball teams.

In a video posted to social media, including TikTok and Instagram, Reese could be seen walking into a men’s basketball meeting with a unmarked box and presenting the men’s players and coaches with their own headphones.

At the end of the video, the men’s team could be seen holding up the headphones and trying them on.

Reese did the same thing with her teammates a few days earlier, as she stood at a podium while the box of headphones was brought into the meeting room.

Few women’s collegiate athletes have made the NIL space theirs quite like Reese, a senior who is among the best players in the country. Per On3.com her NIL valuation is $1.7 million. That is not a true indication of what her NIL deals are bringing her in terms of income. But, Reese has a vast portfolio of partnerships.

Among the most prominent, along with Beats by Dre are Reebox, Airbnb, ZOA Energy, Amazon and PlayStation. She also landed a deal with Mercedes-Benz of Baton Rouge through LSU’s collective, Bayou Traditions, which brought her a new car.

On the court, Reese is having another great season, one year after she led the Tigers to the NCAA Tournament championship. She is averaging 19.3 points and 12.3 rebounds for the Tigers, who are 19-4 overall and in third place in the SEC.

This will be the third straight season that Reese has averaged a double-double, assuming she maintains her pace on the court.
