Northwestern's Leading Scorer Has Burger Named After Him In NIL Deal

The Northwestern star has his own meal at the burger place.

Northwestern men's basketball star Boo Buie made the decision to return to the Wildcats for one more season after helping them make the NCAA Tournament. Buie kicked things off for the 2023-2024 season with a game-high 27 points in the opening night win over Binghamton.

Recently, Buie signed a unique NIL deal with Epic Burger, a restaurant located in Chicago that has 11 locations across the state of Illinois. As part of the deal with Epic Burger, Buie also has a burger named after him, although it's on the secret menu at two of the Epic Burger locations.

The Boo Buie Burger has pepper jack cheese, bacon, pickles, BBQ and Epic sauce, and an onion ring on top since Buie wears No. 0, per Nick Schultz of On3

Buie announced the deal back in October on his X page, and he revealed the two locations where you can get the special burger.

David Grossman, the president and CEO of Epic Burger, is excited to partner with Buie in a unique deal that will surely bring a lot of Northwestern basketball fans to the restaurant to try the burger:

“EPIC Burger is honored to work with Boo. He’s a great kid on and off the field and we’re thrilled that he loves our food.”

On the floor, Buie is a tough player to defend, and his return helped Northwestern enter the season with NCAA Tournament hopes once again.
