Exclusive, multi-year trading card deal is top high school recruit Julian Sayin's first NIL partnership

A week after transferring from Alabama to Ohio State, Julian Sayin - the top quarterback recruit in the 2024 class - has signed his first NIL partnership.

The incoming freshman signal caller from Carlsbad High School (Carlsbad, CA) announced an exclusive, multi-year trading card deal with Panini America that will include autographed trading cards and marketing. His first card will be featured in Panini’s upcoming collegiate products.

“You always dream of getting your first trading card, I’m excited and proud to be partnering with Panini for my exclusive autograph trading cards,” said Sayin.

Sayin was named MVP of the Elite 11 finals before throwing for 2,369 yards, 24 touchdowns and just one interception as a senior.

“We are excited to announce our partnership with Julian – he is a special player and we look forward to following his collegiate career and beyond,” said Jason Howarth, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Athlete Relations. “We are excited to share his Panini products, especially with Buckeyes fans.”

Sayin joins the Panini NIL football roster that includes Texas quarterbacks Quinn Ewers and Arch Manning, USC wide receiver Zachariah Branch, Nebraska freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola and former Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and wide receiver Rome Odunze, among others.

Outside of football, Panini has recently partnered with Nebraska volleyball star Lexi Rodriguez, 2023 NBA Draft Picks Amen and Ausar Thompson, 2024 NBA prospects Matas Buzelis and Ja’Kobe Walter and 2025 NBA prospect Tre Johnson.

Sayin joins a stacked quarterback room at Ohio State that includes Kansas State transfer Will Howard, junior Devin Brown and top freshman recruit Air Noland.
