Evan Mobley's Injury Status For Cavs-Hawks Game

Evan Mobley has been ruled out for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Cleveland Cavaliers will be in Georgia to face off against Dejounte Murray and the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena.  

For the game, the Cavs will be without one of their best players, as starting forward Evan Mobley has been ruled out.

Mobley is in the middle of a productive season with averages of 15.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.6 blocks per contest while shooting 57.8% from the field in 38 games. 

The Cavs are the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 40-21 record in 61 games.  

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Boston Celtics by a score of 105-104. 

Mobley had four points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals while shooting 2/8 from the field in 23 minutes of playing time.  

However, he left the game early with an injury and did not return. 

Following the Hawks, the Cavs will play their next game on Friday evening when they return home to host Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves in Ohio. 

As for the Hawks, they are the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 27-34 record in 61 games. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently beat the New York Knicks by a score of 116-100. 

Following their matchup with the Cavs, the Hawks will play their next game Friday evening when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies in Tennessee.
