Only seven days away from the prestigious, season ending event in Sioux Falls, SD. The Governor's Cup is going to really shake things up in the Professional Cowboys Rodeo Association's world standings with the massive payout.

Below is a look at how the Cinch Playoffs are structured:

Thursday and Friday- Rounds 1 & 2

  1. $10,000
  2. $7,500
  3. $5,000
  4. $2,500

Times from round one and two will be averaged and then the top eight teams will move on to a clean-slate round. The top four teams from that round will then move on to the final round on Saturday.

Saturday-Final Round

  1. $25,000
  2. $19,000
  3. $12,000
  4. $6,000

This incredible sum of money the athletes are able to win this close to the cut off for qualifying for the National Finals Rodeo is a huge game changer.

Below are the Headers that entered Sioux Falls as well as their current positions and earnings in the world standings just weeks away from the deadline for NFR qualifications.

Headers

  1. Kaleb Driggers, 1st in the World, $160,185
  2. Nelson Wyatt, 2nd in the Worlds, $145,083
  3. Tyler Wade, 4th in the World, $133,436
  4. Tanner Tomlinson, 6th in the World, $118,705

Summers entering the Cinch Playoffs in the last spot (almost $13,000 behind that 15th in the world position) is going to be interesting one to watch. He has been to the NFR twice in his career and you can bet he's not quitting any time soon on qualifying for a third.

Now here's a look at the heelers that entered:

Heelers

  1. Junior Nogueria, 1st in the World, $160,185

  11. Coleby Payne, 16th in the World, $83,163
  12. Ross Ashford, 23rd in the World, $74,709

On the heeling side of the event there are some underdogs creeping up the ranks too. Ashford is over $13,000 behind that coveted 15th in the world spot.

It'll be interesting to watch the Governor's cup unfold and the numbers shaken up.
