Heading into the second night of the Cinch Playoffs Governor's Cup, multiple team ropers needed solid qualifying runs to help punch their ticket to the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas this December.

Cole Curry made a significant move in the world standings with a third-place, 5.3-second run.

Duos Brenten Hall/Paden Bray and Clay Smith/Coleby Payne are still in the hunt for the Cinch Playoffs Championship as they squeeze into the clean slate, eight-man round on just one head.

The top-eight in the average from round one and two are advancing to the clean-slate eight-man round on Saturday. From there, the top-four teams will go on to the final four round. The winner of the final four will be crowned the Governor's Cup Champions.

The hunt for the NFR continues to heat up as three heelers that sit on or near the bubble advance to the eight-man round. After the conclusion of the Cinch Playoffs Saturday night, the stage for the NFR will be set.
