As the dust settles in Duncan, Oklahoma following the RAM Prairie Circuit Finals, National Finals Rodeo qualifiers Coleman Proctor and Logan Medlin take home the team roping championship. This circuit finals win also gave them an automatic entry into the NFR Open next July in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Proctor and Medlin used the momentum from their last thrilling win of the 2023 season in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, at the Governors Cup to keeping their streak going into the circuit finals.

The team boosted their earnings by $35,000 each on the last day of the regular season. Shooting Medlin up to fifth in the world standings going into the NFR in December, and Proctor to sixth.

This years NFR will be the Oklahoma native, Coleman Proctor's, eighth qualification since his first appearance at the big show in 2014.

Logan Medlin's horse, "Cantina," ended up third in the line up for AQHA heel horse of the year, carrying Medlin to his fourth consecutive NFR. Originally from Tatum, New Mexico, Medlin has his sights set high on his first world championship.
