Tonozzi Stallion Changes Hands After Winning Round at Governor's Cup

Carrying Brittany Tonozzi to win $16,250 thus far at the Cinch Playoffs and break the regular season earnings record wasn’t the only exciting moment this Friday for the stallion SR Industry Titan.
The prestigious 70 Ranch Performance Horses purchased the incredible stallion to add to their stellar line up.
Tonozzi and SR Industry Titan have had an incredible last couple months, setting arena records in Stephenville, Texas, and Ellensburg, Washington.
Tonozzi’s earnings weren’t the only ones boosted, the stallion’s lifetime earnings are now well over $300,000.
70 Ranch Performance is not lacking in the horsepower department and Titan is not the only horse they own that is competing at the Cinch Playoffs.
Sand In My Socks, jockeyed by Stevi Hillman, is also owned by the 70 Ranch. Unfortunately Hillman tipped a barrel to win the first round of the Cinch Playoffs. This mare also competed in the NFR last year with Hillman and just won Pendleton Round-Up.
Titan will be joining other 70 Ranch studs during the breeding season, some are Feel The Sting, sired by the great Dash Ta Fame out of Sherry Cervi’s incredible mare, Stingray.
Another stallion at standing at the Gainesville, Texas, ranch is Metallic Malice, a stunning homozygous roan son of Metallic Cat who has over $40 million in offspring earnings.
SR Industry Titan is sired by FirewaterOnTheRocks out of Mulberry Canyon Moon. Titan's sire and dam have had multiple offspring compete at the NFR as well as his dam running there herself. 70 Ranch will also be adding him to the prestigious Pink Buckle barrel incentive that pays out over $4 million held at the Lazy E Arena next week.
Through the rest of the 2023 season and into 2024, Tonozzi will continue to run Titan.
Saturday the team are competing at the top of the average in the barrel racing at the Governor's Cup in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. With the 13.95 Friday night and a 13.86 Saturday night Tonozzi and Titan are sitting second in the average.
