Brittany Tonozzi is no stranger to this fierce fight to make it to the National Finals Rodeo. She went in 2003 as the first Rookie to qualify in the number one spot in the standings. She also qualified again in 2006-13, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2017-22.

This cowgirl is dead-set on running at the Thomas and Mack again this season.

She not only leads the Women's Professional Rodeo Association Worlds standings in barrel racing earnings but also the Cinch Playoff series points standings and will be competing in Sioux Falls, SD later on this month at the Finals.

Tonozzi has been tearing it up all year setting multiple arena records, winning countless rounds and rodeo averages aboard the horse SR Industry Titan (Sired by FirewaterOnTheRocks out of Mulberry Canyon Moon). Titan's sire and dam have had multiple offspring compete at the NFR as well as his dam running there herself.

Another huge accomplishment to add to her ever growing list is she crossed the $3 million mark in her earnings back in July of this year. This exclusive attainment has only been reached by two other cowgirls- Lisa Lockhart and Sherry Cervi.

Tonozzi is leading the pack this year with $246,882.54 thus far. She is only $4,000 away from a regular season record.

She also has an $85,000 lead on second place Jordan Briggs (2021 NFR Barrel Racing champion) who currently has $160,522.61 in earnings.

Tonozzi has all but secured her spot in running in Las Vegas this December.
