Everything that could go wrong did go wrong for the New York Yankees this season. They may be playing for bragging rights at this point, but that is not stopping Aaron Judge from blistering the baseball every chance he gets.

On Friday night, the Yankees outfielder hit three home runs in a single game. That is the second time this season Judge has performed the home run hat trick, becoming the first player in the franchise's 121-year history to accomplish the feat.

During Judge's historic putting, he wore a pair of Air Jordan cleats in a player-exclusive colorway designed to honor the victims of last month's Maui Wildfires. After the game, Judge posted a series of pictures on his Instagram account with the caption, "Maui Magic! The Bronx was rocking tonight!"

Judge has worn Jordan Brand cleats for over a year, but the two partners made it official in August when the brand announced a multi-year sneaker deal for the American League home run king.

Since officially joining the Jumpman family, Judge has turned up the heat with his choice of footwear. We have seen him rock cleats inspired by highly sought-after sneakers as well as cleats that pay tribute to people and places.

Judge is one of just five active MLB players to represent Jordan Brand on the field, and it's safe to say both partners made the right choice by teaming up. Stay tuned to FanNationKicks.com for all your footwear news from the sports world.
