However, he's still drawing inspiration in a sneaker tribute to his hometown on "404 Day." Of course, this is not an official collaboration between adidas and the Olympics.

The Anthony Edwards 2 'Ant-Lanta' colorway drops at 10:00 a.m. ET on Saturday, April 4. Athletes and fans can buy the performance basketball shoes for $130 in adult sizes at adidas.com, the adidas app, and at select retail stores.

On Thursday, adidas unveiled the latest colorway of the Edwards's second signature basketball shoe. A design as distinctive as the city that inspired it, Edwards' hometown pride runs deep with the 'Ant-lanta' Day colorway. It is more than a tribute to the city of Atlanta, Georgia. The colorway celebrates the city's history with colors that bring residents back to the summer of '96. 

The silhouette sports an Equipment Green and Core Black upper, accented by Metallic Gold details and Warm Vanilla outsole. Fittingly, the shoe drops on April 4th, also known as 404 Day, a day dedicated to celebrating one of America's most iconic cities. The shoes come with Core Black and Warm Vanilla laces, allowing fans to customize their kicks.
