Every Sunday throughout the NFL season is a fashion show on and off the field. That is especially true for the playoffs. Few, if any, players are better at doing all than San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel

Before exiting last night's NFC divisional round playoff game early with a shoulder injury, Samuel provided two catches in the first half, which played a part in the 49ers' 24-21 victory over the Green Bay Packers. During his time on the field, Samuel showed off an exquisite pair of custom cleats inspired by the signature sneaker line of Kobe Bryant.

Samuel wore the Nike Kobe 6 in a custom gold and white colorway. Bryant's iconic sneakers have never officially been released as football cleats, but that is not stopping the sneaker community from doing it themselves. The artist responsible for the footwear masterpiece is Kota Kustoms, who always does an excellent job of reimagining popular basketball shoes as football cleats.

Sure, Samuel signed with Jordan Brand in September 2022. But that has not stopped the NFL Pro Bowler from occasionally rocking Nike footwear on the field. During last year's divisional round playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys, Samuel wore custom crystal-covered Nike Dunk cleats.

After last night's dramatic win, San Francisco is on to the NFC Championship, where they will play the winner of today's game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Detroit Lions. If the Lions win, Samuel will run into another Jordan Brand athlete in quarterback Jared Goff.

Either way, we hope that Samuel will be good to go by next week and will be able to show off more of his impressive footwear. Stay locked into FanNationKicks.com for all your sneaker news from the sports world.
