Puma & Breanna Stewart Announce The Stewie 2
It has been an eventful WNBA off-season. One of the most significant moves came on February 1, when Breanna Stewart left the Seattle Storm in free agency to form a new superteam with the New York Liberty. Stewart, a force of nature, is not finished making waves.
With the start of the new season quickly approaching, Stewart and PUMA have officially announced the second signature sneaker of the 2x WNBA Finals MVP. The PUMA Stewie 2 is here, and it does not disappoint.

Stewart's first signature shoe was a stunning success. WNBA, NBA, and college players quickly embraced the performance basketball shoe. Building off the momentum of the first model, the PUMA Stewie 2 celebrates the different areas of Stewart's life that drive her to be a force of nature.
The shoe debuts in the 'Ruby' colorway, which is named after Stewart’s daughter and is inspired by the grounding strength of motherhood.
“As I began creating my second signature shoe with PUMA, I knew I wanted to name it after my daughter, Ruby. Not only to symbolize the incredible bond I share with my daughter, but also to pay homage to the unwavering strength and resilience of mothers everywhere,“ said Stewart.

The Stewie 2 provides the latest PUMA technology for all athletes to perform at the highest level. The performance hoops shoe features a PWRTAPE-supported upper for durability and support when cutting and jumping.
Cushion is provided by the midsole and consists of a NITRO TM-infused foam for superior responsiveness and comfort while remaining lightweight. Additionally, the sculptural wraparound heel with flame detailing and Ruby’s birthday at the side completes the powerful silhouette for the hardwood and beyond.
Inspired by the elements of nature, the Stewie 2 outsole embodies fire, wind, and water to represent Stewie’s ability to be a force of nature both on and off the court. The high-abrasion outsole tread pattern provides superior traction, ideal for quick cuts and spot-up jumpers.

The PUMA Stewie 2 'Ruby' will launch on May 19. Athletes and fans will be able to purchase the shoes for $125 in North America on the PUMA website, the PUMA mobile app, the PUMA NYC Flagship store, and select retailers worldwide.
PUMA wants you to find the fire within yourself with the new shoes and accompanying apparel, including vibrant ruby-red hoodies, tees, tights, and shorts with allover flame graphics and Breanna Stewart and PUMA. The apparel pack will start at $40 at select locations.
