Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is an assassin on the basketball court, but at the end of the day, he is a family man. Stephen’s first-born daughter Riley has played a big part in some of the most memorable moments throughout his NBA career.

Everyone remembers her adorable appearances during the NBA Finals press conferences. However, not many people may know that Riley played an outsized role in helping her father make the decision to join the Under Armour family (the full story below).

In honor of Riley, Stephen and Curry Brand, powered by Under Armour, are releasing the UA Spawn FloTro, “Riley’s Choice,” on Friday, December 8, on the Curry Brand website and in select UA Brand Houses.

A detailed look at Stephen Curry's sneakers.

"Riley’s Choice" was inspired by the iconic story of Riley choosing the original UA Anatomix Spawn from a bag of competitor shoes using the process of elimination as Stephen was deciding which brand to sign with back in 2013. Riley’s decision is what ultimately sealed the deal for Stephen to go with Under Armour.

The hoop shoe has a boot-inspired design with a push collar that provides ultimate comfort and stability. Additionally, the lightweight layered upper construction offers fitting comfort, while the midsole made with innovative Under Armour Flow technology provides cushioning for enhanced performance.

This UA Spawn FloTro colorway is the exact color of the UA Anatomix Spawn that Riley picked out over a decade ago. Much has changed in the NBA over the past decade, but Curry's championship mentality and core values remain the same. Follow FanNationKicks.com for all your footwear news from the sports world.
