Kentucky Wildcats Receive Drake's New Sneakers

In this story:
Over the past few weeks, most of us have listened to the new Drake album, "For All the Dogs." But the Canadian rapper still loves the cats - specifically the Kentucky Wildcats. The relationship between Drake and Kentucky dates back years and remains as strong as ever.
With the college basketball season right around the corner, Drake wanted to send some love to his favorite NCAA basketball program. On Thursday night, the Kentucky Men's Basketball social media team shared a slick video of head coach John Calipari surprising his team with Drake's newest kicks.
The players were visibly overjoyed to receive Drake's new Nike sneakers in a blue and white player-exclusive colorway. In case you were wondering, the Kentucky Women's Basketball Team also got a pair on Friday.

Calipari hand-delivered the shipment to the lady hoopers and shared a message from Drake. Calipari told the lady hoopers, "He made sure - Drake did. He said, 'I'm sending your team a pair, but I want the women to get it too.' So, they were from him personally."
Unfortunately for the rest of us, we are not getting a pair of Drake's kicks in the Kentucky colorway. However, online shoppers can purchase a pair of the NOCTA Glide on the Nike website.
The Nike NOCTA Glide was inspired by the Nike Zoom Flight 95. Drake put his signature NOCTA spin on the model that was informed by basketball but made to be worn for lifestyle moments. Stay locked into FanNationKicks.com for all your footwear news.
