The first month of the new year is always a great time for sneakers. Many athletes and fans receive new basketball shoes over the holidays and are quick to break them in on and off the court.

The NBA is no different when it comes to debuting new shoes. The start of 2023 gave fans plenty to discuss when it comes to footwear. Below are our rankings for the ten best performance basketball shoes worn during NBA games in January of 2023.

10. adidas Harden Vol. 7

Player: Philadelphia 76ers guard James Harden.

Shoe: The adidas Harden Vol. 7 in an unreleased colorway.

How to Buy: Adidas has not yet provided any details on James Harden's seventh signature shoe. However, the adidas Harden Vol. 7 is expected to launch in February 2023.

How to Buy: Ja Morant's first signature shoe has not been released. However, the Nike Ja 1 is expected to launch this summer for $110 in adult sizes.
