WWE Money in the Bank 2026 takes place tonight at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Scroll down for the live coverage of this evening's premium live event.

One man and one woman will leave New Orleans tonight with a briefcase that guarantees a WWESuperstar can cash in on a World Championship of their choice at any time over the next year. The Money in the Bank briefcase has been the launchpad for several wrestlers' careers since the match was invented over two decades ago.

The winner of the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder match could be looking to target the winner of tonight's opening contest as Roman Reigns defends the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight. Fans have been waiting for a very long time for Knight to get this shot and understand that tonight could be now or never for the Megastar to reach the top of the mountain in WWE.

With Reigns and Knight opening the show, they will avoid the looming threat of a potential cash-in this evening.

The same might not be true for the women if the triple-threat for the Women's World Championship takes place after the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match. If that's the case, all bets will be off, and that titleholder had best have eyes in the back of her head after the bell rings on tonight's matchup.

No matter who wins tonight between Stephanie Vaquer, Liv Morgan, or Becky Lynch, there's no guarantee they will leave tonight's event with the title around their waist; the briefcase is already in play. Will it happen? Tune in to find out.

Also scheduled for tonight's event, two of the biggest and baddest on the Raw roster will collide as Oba Femi takes on Bronson Reed. The master of the Tsunami has made Femi his target upon his return from injury last month.

Will The Ruler vanquish another foe? We'll find out soon enough.

WWE Money in the Bank results:

Roman Reigns defeated LA Knight to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. The match was reportedly scheduled to close the show earlier this week is now opening the show. That's certainly interesting. Knight got a huge reaction from the WWE Universe for his entrance. Reigns got the reaction you would typically expect for the Tribal Chief. The crowd should be pretty split throughout the match.

As for the match itself, it took a while to get started as Reigns and Knight ran their mouths at one another for what felt like forever. But once the action got underway, the two men didn't hold back as Knight scored the early advantage, sending Reigns out of the ring to regroup. Reigns returned to the ring and tried to regain the advantage, but Knight seemed a step ahead early on.

Every time Reigns got some offense going, Knight turned it around and quickly regained control, which probably doesn't bode well for a potential title change this evening. The action eventually spilled outside as Knight made the mistake of focusing on clearing the commentary table to put Reigns through it. Unfortunately for Knight, this gave Reigns time to recover and attack him from behind, taking full control of the match.

From there, the match would go back and forth a bit; Reigns would hit a Superman Punch, but Knight kicked out at two. Reigns attempted a spear, but Knight leapfrogged over it as Reigns collided with the corner post. Knight capitalized with a superplex followed by a Burning Hammer, but Reigns kicked out at two. The action spilled out to ringside again; both men tried to put the other through the commentators' table, but neither succeeded.

Back in the ring, Reigns went for another spear, but Knight reversed it into a BFT for another two-count. The commentators stated this was the first time anyone had kicked out of Knight's finish. Reigns would eventually hit his spear, but Knight also managed to kick out at two. Roman would look to hit another spear, but Knight countered with a spear of his own for another two-count.

Knight and Reigns headed back outside the ring. Reigns attempts yet another spear, but Knight counters and sends Reigns crashing through the barricade. Knight would follow it up with a messy powerbomb through the commentary table before pushing Reigns back into the ring. LA Knight hit a leaping top-rope elbow drop for another two-count. At this point, Reigns began spamming the Superman Punch before hitting Knight with a spear to retain the title.

After the match, 946 appeared in the crowd and teased an attack on Reigns, but the Usos and Solo Sikoa came up from behind, and the six men began brawling around the arena instead. The six men ended up brawling outside the arena, which caused the 946 to retreat.

Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Tiffany Stratton defeated Roxanne Perez, Jacy Jayne, Lash Legend, Sol Ruca, and Lola Vice. The match began with all six women pointing up at the briefcase before ganging up on Legend and attacking her over her actions during last night's episode of SmackDown.

A scary bump happened early in the match as Stratton climbed a ladder outside the ring to do a senton dive onto some of her opponents. She didn't get all of it, and the women on the floor didn't do a great job catching her, causing Stratton to land badly on her shoulders and the back of her head. Somehow, Stratton recovered and continued the match.

After stopping Jayne and Perez from climbing the ladder on separate occasions, Stratton made he climb herself. Ruca would leapfrog off the ropes and land on the opposite side of the ladder and the two women would slug it out on top of the ladder. Ruca would grab the briefcase but would lose the ladder underneath her as she would eventually have to let go and crash down on top of her opponents.

A short time later, Ruca would follow things up with another insane spot hitting Legend with a Frog Splash onto a propped ladder at ringside to break the ladder in half between them. Jayne would take the opportunity to try to retrieve the briefcase but Vice would climb up and stop her with a rear naked choke causing both women to fall off onto another ladder and stumble to the floor. There have been a lot of SCARY bumps in this match tonight.

The finish of the match saw Stratton and Legend fight it out at the top of the ladder. Legend tried to chokeslam Stratton off but was hit in the face with the briefcase for her troubles and sent stumbling down the ladder as Stratton retrieves the briefcase for the second time in her career. Watch your back, Chelsea Green!

Oba Femi defeated Bronson Reed. They show Paul Heyman backstage watching this match on a monitor. Femi is still insanely over with the WWE Universe. The two men start the match, slugging it out. Femi and Reed toss each other around in displays of power. Reed slams Femi down on the side of the ring apron, the Ruler's arm catching on the top rope as he crashes down.

Bronson Reed takes the match back in the ring and is in control of the match for a bit before Femi battles back, and the men start trading haymakers with one another. Reed attempts a Tsunami twice; Femi moves before Reed jumps the first time, but the second time he moves once Reed is already airborne, causing Reed to crash and burn.

Once Femi was in control, The Vision, minus Bron Breakker would come to ringside and attempt to interfere. As the referee ejected Logan Paul from ringside, Reed was handed brass knuckles from Austin Theory. Reed hit Femi with the knuckles twice and followed it up with a Tsunami but Femi kicked out at two. Femi would rage back and hit Reed with some of his trademark moves before hitting Fall From Grace to score the pinfall victory.

Liv Morgan defeated Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch to win the Women's World Championship. In the early stages of this match, this triple threat looked a lot like a singles match with random interference from the third competitor. Vaquer hit a top-rope crossbody on Lynch and Morgan to the outside of the ring and came up slightly hobbling.

Morgan would hit Vaquer with the Three Amigos, followed by a Shining Wizard for a two-count. Vaquer would retaliate with a Devil's Kiss, later getting a two-count of her own. The champion would turn her focus to Lynch, scoring a two-count on her as well. Lynch would get in on the pinfalls as well, hitting both women with a double DDT, trying to pin both women, but both of them kicking out.

Outside of the ring, Vaquer and Lynch would work together to set up a table at ringside, but Morgan managed to escape being put through it as the action returned to the ring. Vaquer and Lynch would each apply a submission to Morgan, but couldn't agree on which of them would let go resulted in the two women headbutting each other allowing Morgan out of the holds.

The match would return to ringside as Vaquer hit Meteoras on both women into the steel steps. Vaquer would take Morgan back in the ring and hit the Vaquer Inferno, but Lynch pulled the referee out before she could count the three. The finish saw Vaquer superkick Lynch from the ring apron onto the table, but the table didn't break. Morgan would capitalize, hitting Vaquer with ObLIVion to score the pinfall victory.

Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match: CM Punk vs. Kevin Owens vs. Trick Williams vs. Bron Breakker vs. Penta vs. Je'Von Evans. Punk and KO would attack each other early, but Breakker would take them both down with a double clothesline. The action wouldn't last long in the ring, as all six men would quickly find themselves brawling around ringside instead.

When the action returned to the ring, the combatants cared more about inflicting damage on their opponents than climbing a ladder to retrieve the briefcase. Eventually, Breakker set up the ladder and was the first man to climb to try to get the contract; he was stopped by Punk, allowing Evans to climb the ladder, but he was pulled down by KO. Punk tried to climb, but Owens yanked him down as well, looking to injure Punk's knees.

The action would find its way back to ringside where we saw some crazy spots involving Bron Breakker, who speared Evans into the barricade so hard, medics had to come out to take the Young OG out on a stretcher. Punk would try to return to the ring and climb the ladder, but was stopped by Penta.

Kevin Owens would try to injure the downed CM Punk with a ladder while Penta and Trick both tried and failed to climb the ladder. Meanwhile, footage is shown backstage of Evans being taken out of the arena in an ambulance. Back in the ring, Penta hit Punk with a Penta Driver before climbing up the ladder, he was stopped by Breakker before he could reach the top.

Williams and Lil Yachty try to get the briefcase, but KO stops them and gives both men Stunners for their trouble. Owens and Punk both try to climb up and get the briefcase but stop each other. Breakker returns to the ring and spears them both. Penta pulls Breakker out, but he just spears him and Williams, too. KO and Punk brawl at ringside, and Breakker spears both of them through the barricade.

An ambulance drives back into the arena, and it's Evans who viciously attacks Breakker. Evans takes out Williams and Penta in the ring, then tries to set up a giant ladder, which takes way too long. By the time it was finally set up, Breakker was back to stop Evans from climbing the ladder. The ladder would be moved away from the title, and Evans would stupidly climb it anyway so Breakker could push him off and send him crashing through the top of the ambulance.

Penta would eventually stop Breakker from climbing up by hitting him with a Mexican Destroyer on a ladder. Penta finally climbs the ladder and retrieves the briefcase. WWE Money in the Bank goes off the air with Penta celebrating on top of the ladder with the briefcase.
