Monticello softball player Alaina Lyle voted SBLive’s Arkansas high school athlete of the week (May 1-7)

The sophomore totaled 11,854 votes

Monticello softball player Alaina Lyle was voted SBLive’s Arkansas High School Athlete of the Week for May 1-7. 

Lyle racked up 11,854 votes (45.4%). Harrison girls soccer player Mia Barrett was second with 7,908 votes (30.29%). 

Lyle struck out 9 in a complete-game, 9-3 victory over Magnolia in the 4A-South Regional Tournament while hitting 2 home runs with 3 RBIs.
