The Arkansas Activities Association announced Wednesday that the Forydce girls basketball team has been removed from the 2A-South Regional tournament, which begins Wednesday. 

According to an AAA press release, Fordyce ‘inadvertently’ used an ineligible player and will forfeit all games played with that player. With the disqualification, Spring Hill advances to the second round. 

All other first-round games will be played as scheduled.
