Here are Scorebook Live’s Top 10 rankings for Class 2B Washington high school boys basketball for the week of Jan. 6.

Our class-by-class Washington boys basketball coaches polls and rankings are released every Monday throughout the 2019-20 high school boys basketball season. The 2B rankings are compiled by SB Live basketball analyst and former NBA player Dan Dickau and SB Live Washington reporter Andy Buhler.

CLASS 2B BOYS BASKETBALL TOP 10

Rankings for Jan. 6, 2020

1.Brewster 8-1

Lost to the No. 2-ranked 1A team Seattle Academy by 10 then beat Overlake in the Sundome Shootout, before beating Soap Lake handily at home, 106-39.

2.Life Christian Academy 6-2

Lost at Nathan Hale, 92-63, then defeated Willipa Valley on the road, 66-59. 

3.St. George’s 8-3

Defeated two larger school teams, Deer Park and Pullman, then beat Wilbur-Creston on the road, 68-48, and Kettle Falls, 54-39.

4.Lake Roosevelt 6-0

Defeated Warden, 74-28, and White Swan, 67-52.

5. Liberty (Spangle) 10-0

Beat Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls), 54-35, Timberlake, 66-52, Tekoa-Rosalia, 77-50, and went on the road and beat Asotin, 84-56. 

6. Onalaska 5-0

Defeated Pe Ell on the road, South Bend and Adna at home (again), 54-51.

7. Toutle Lake 8-2

Defeated Naselle, 59-40, lost to Yakama Tribal by 11 in the Sundome Shootout, beat Cascade Christian, 51-43, then breezed past Tenino and Friday Harbor at home.

8. Northwest Christian (Lacey) 9-1

Beat North Beach, 71-51, then edged Raymond on the road by one.

9. Willipa Valley 7-3

Lost to Winlock by four, defeated Adna narrowly at home, lost to No. 2 Life Christian Academy, then rebounded with a home overtime win against Ilwaco.

10. Ilwaco 7-2

Beat Toledo on the road, 52-38, Raymond at home, 86-62, and lost to Willipa Valley on the road, 70-64 in overtime.
