What impact did your high school coach have on you?
Aside from my father and older brother, Coach Butch Blue had a huge impact on my basketball and work ethic development. I will always remember the intensity that Mr. Blue brought to each and every practice and game!
What are you doing now?
I am a licensed real estate broker and investor in Spokane county.
Who is the best player you played against in high school?
There were a few but the best had to be high school All-State, future college All-American, and NBA draftee Dan Dickau.
What is your advice to today’s high school players?
Hard work is a talent that most people have...use it on a daily basis.
What is your opinion about AAU, high school (recruiting process in general)?
Things like this sort themselves out and you, as a high school athlete, cannot get caught up in the hype. Everyone develops at a different pace, but it's important that you set short term goals and work hard to achieve them; the rest will take care of itself.
What is your favorite high school gym and/or rivalry?
It has and always will be against our district rivals at Prairie High School!
