STARKVILLE, Miss. - Gavin Shannon scored 23 points to lead an offensive explosion from Tupelo that resulted in a 100-93 road victory over top-ranked Starkville on Friday night.

London Fields added 19 points for Tupelo, and Braxton Bishop scored 16.

Makhi Myles dropped in a game-high 28 points for Starkville, who came into the game ranked No. 1 in SBLive's statewide boys basketball rankings.
