Senior Stanford commit Benny Gealer scored 15 points to lead Rolling Hills Prep. Junior Kenny Manzi and sophomore JV Brown each added 14. Capistrano Valley Christian senior Mac West led all scorers with 19 points in the loss.

SANTA ANA, Calif. -- Friday's game ended with both teams giving the other a chance to win, but in the end Rolling Hills Prep hung on to secure a 55-53 victory over Capistrano Valley Christian in the second game of the 2022 Nike Extravaganza at Mater Dei High School.

Rolling Hills Prep led by four with under a minute to play but missed free throws and a foul from the Huskies gave Capistrano Valley Christian life. Trailing by one with seven seconds left, Eagles' guard Makaih Williams went to the foul line to shoot a one and one, but missed the front end and Rolling Hills Prep hung on to win 55-53.
