West Coast rap legends Warren G and Xzibit headlined a halftime show at the LA Memorial Coliseum

LOS ANGELES - Only in Los Angeles ...

Rap artists Warren G and Xzibit performed at halftime of the King/Drew vs. Dorsey high school football game in front of thousands of fans at the LA Memorial Coliseum Friday night at the South L.A. Classic.

Warren G, the creator of the G-Funk sound, is a three-time multi-platinum artist. His debut album, Regulate... G Funk Era, debuted at #2 on the US Billboard 200 chart in 1994.

Xzibit began his music career with the release of his debut album titled “At the Speed of Life,” which peaked at #74 in 1996. His career evolved into acting, eventually hosting the hit reality show, Pimp My Ride.

Last year, the East L.A. Classic was played at the Coliseum and Will i Am of the Black Eyed Peas performed at halftime.
