The CIF's North Coast Section has unveiled its 2026 boys basketball brackets in seven divisions on Sunday.

The playoffs began Tuesday in three divisions (D1, D3, D5), continue Wednesday with first-round games in three more divisions (D2, D4, D6) and first-round games are Thursday in the coveted 6-team Open Division bracket.

Defending champions are De La Salle (Open), Dougherty Valley (Division 1), Moreau Catholic (D2), Branson (D3), St. Patrick-St. Vincent (D4), Alhambra (D5) and St. Bernard's Academy (D6).

Top seeds this season are Salesian (Open Division), Bishop O'Dowd (D1), University (D2), Branson-Ross (D3), San Marin-Novato (D4), Sonoma Academy (D5) and St. Vincent de Paul-Petaluma (D6). 

First-round Division 1 winners included No. 1 Bishop O'Dowd, No. 2 Amador Valley, No. 3 Granada and No. 4 Liberty. The only upset was No. 10 Livermore over No. 7 California in overtime.
