Jacory Barney Jr., 4-star rated wide receiver, commits to Nebraska over Miami (FL) and West Virginia
MIAMI, FLORIDA- When Matt Rhule came over to the Nebraska Cornhuskers after his NFL stint with the Carolina Panthers, one of his goals was to own the recruitment of the players from South Florida.
On Saturday evening, Rhule continued the trend he's started create of recruiting down in Dade County of attracting South Florida talent back to Nebraska.
Miami Palmetto (Florida) junior wide receiver Jacory Barney Jr. announced Saturday evening via a live Instagram interview with Rivals.com that he is committing to Nebraska. The offensive star is a 4-star rated prospect according to 247Sports and also had offers on the table from Arizona, Miami (FL), Texas A&M and West Virginia.

Last season for the Panthers, Barney Jr. hauled in 37 passes for 559 yards and four touchdowns. Barney Jr. also rushed for 184 yards on 21 touches and a touchdown.
The wide receiver also had offers from Georgia Tech, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Tennessee, UCF, USF and Utah.
