Watch: Springstead defeats Citrus in a rare Monday night high school football game

SPRING HILL, FLORIDA- Citrus High School and Springstead High School had to makeup their football game that was impacted by Hurricane Idalia to Monday night.
Both teams were at the southern end of the hurricane that came through the Big Bend area of Florida, forcing the schools to move the game. Springstead entered searching for its first win of the season while Citrus was playing its first game of the season.
The Eagles (1-1) rolled to a 49-14 victory over the Hurricanes (0-1) and down below are highlights from the game on Monday night. Citrus debuted new head coach Joshua Ross as he coached his first game with the Hurricanes.
