THREE TO SEE
QB Miller Moss
Moss started every game as a sophomore a season ago for
Alemany. He threw for 2,714 yards and 19 touchdowns. The junior has had a great
offseason and has narrowed his list of college choices to seven schools. Alabama,
Michigan and USC have all made the cut. He did throw 14 interceptions last
year. That’s an area to improve.
WR Kevin Green
Green was one of, if not the best freshman receiver in Southern California last year. He caught 77 passes for 854 yards and six TDs in his first varsity season. He made plays against Oaks Christian in 2018 which put him on the map.
Junior Tuihalamaka LB
Tuihalamaka made 68 tackles and intercepted two passes last year. Arizona State and USC have already extended scholarship offers.
OUTLOOK
Division 3 is loaded, but Alemany will be competitive and has a shot to win a few playoff rounds.
The Warriors are young, but all of that youth played significant time last season. The game to circle on the Alemany schedule comes on September 13 at home against Oaks Christian. Alemany lost last year’s game 56-14 to Oaks.
“It’s not going to be like that this year,” Moss told
Scorebook Live California.
