CIF Sac-Joaquin Section 2019 football bracket updates, playoff scores: Folsom survives upset bid, advances to Division 1 semifinals

The 2019 CIF Sac-Joaquin Section high school football playoffs continued Friday night with quarterfinal and semifinal games across Divisions I through VII.

In Division I, No. 1 Folsom narrowly avoided an upset, holding off No. 8 Edison 45-42. Folsom will play No. 4 Monterey Trail next week (Nov. 22) in the semifinals.

No. 2 Oak Ridge and No. 3 Inderkum advanced to the other Division I semifinal.
