Brent Vieselmeyer resigned as Santa Margarita football coach, the school announced Tuesday.

Brent Vieselmeyer resigned as Santa Margarita football coach, the school announced Tuesday. He's accepted a job as an assistant coach with the Washington Redskins in the NFL.

Santa Margarita went 3-8 in Vieselmeyer's one season in charge. For the second offseason in a row, Santa Margarita will be looking for a new coach.
