Audio: Roosevelt head coach Aldo Parral speaks ahead of East LA Classic

Roosevelt head coach Aldo Parral did not hold back in his speech Wednesday morning.

MONTEREY PARK — Representatives from Garfield and Roosevelt high school spoke on Wednesday at East Los Angeles College ahead of Friday’s East LA Classic between the two schools’ football programs.

Roosevelt head coach Aldo Parral made the speech of the day. He didn't hold back discussing how badly he wants to win and that if Roosevelt managed to keep kids from Boyle Heights at Roosevelt, the rivalry wouldn't be as lopsided as it has been in recent years.
