Narbonne football doesn't appeal 2019 postseason ban, officially won't play in 2019 CIF playoffs

Narbonne was banned from the football playoffs in 2019 and 2020 by the City Section.

The LA City Section sent a letter to the Section's eight Open Division head football coaches Wednesday night informing them that "no appeals for the 2019 Football Playoff season have been filed."

Narbonne was banned from the football playoffs in 2019 and 2020 by the Section last Friday. Since the school did not appeal, the matchups released by the Section last Saturday will take place as scheduled, according to the letter.

"The seeding that was distributed on November 2, 2019 will NOT be changed," the letter read.
