Santa Cruz Valley's Wyatt Ogle voted WaFd Bank Arizona High School Athlete of the Week

Congratulations to Santa Cruz ValleyQB/DB Wyatt Ogle for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Arizona High School Athlete of the Week!
In an intense 43-37 victory over Arizona College Prep, Ogle passed for two touchdowns and grabbed two interceptions.
Ogle received 43.73% of the vote, beating out Santa Cruz Valley RB/DB Ricardo Alaniz, who finished with 34.96%. Chaparral QB Brayten Silbor finished third with 10.66% and Santa Cruz Valley RB/DB David Avilez was fourth with 7.17%.

Caleb Jones, Basha RB: Jones went for six total touchdowns in a 56-24 win over Mesa.
Payton Barlow, Queen Creek RB/CB: Barlow ran for three touchdowns and recorded an interception in a 36-29 victory over Red Mountain. Queen Creek also received strong contributions from quarterback Devin Brown, among others.
Sebastian Tomerlin, Queen Creek FS: Tomerlin recorded two interceptions for the Bulldogs and defensed numerous more passes.
Adryan Lara, Desert Edge QB: Lara threw for four touchdowns and 359 yards in a 26-23 comeback win over Sunrise Mountain.
Andrew Patterson, Desert Edge WR: Patterson caught two of Lara’s touchdowns and finished with 211 yards on eight catches.
Luis Jaramillo, Flagstaff RB: Jaramillo ran for four touchdowns in a 35-17 victory over Lee Williams, including three touchdowns and more than 100 yards in the first half. Spencer Smith had a 95-yard interception-return touchdown for the Eagles.
Tyson Fousel, Coconino RB: Fousel led Coco’s three-headed ground attack with 134 yards and two touchdowns on six carries in a 35-21 comeback win over Mingus. The Panthers also received two touchdowns and 92 yards on the ground from Manuel Cardoza, and Zach Bennett became the program’s all-time rushing leader with his 95 yards.
Jacob Cisneros, Boulder Creek RB: The Jaguars clinched a region title thanks in part to Cisneros’ 133 rushing yards, 66 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
David Avilez, Santa Cruz Valley RB/DB: Avilez did a little of everything for the Dust Devils. He finished with a rushing touchdown, a receiving touchdown, a rushing two-point conversion, a 25-yard kickoff return and an interception.
Ricardo Alaniz, Santa Cruz Valley RB/DB:Alaniz ran for two touchdowns and grabbed an interception.
Rocco Bruney, Glendale QB: Bruney led Glendale to a 45-27 victory over St. Mary’s with three passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns.
Colby Derosier, Glendale WR: Derosier caught two touchdown passes and rushed for another score.
Mark Wren, Thatcher RB: Wren ran for four touchdowns in a 39-13 win over San Tan Foothills.
Kaleb Blair, Pima QB: Blair threw for two touchdowns and ran for another in a 41-0 rout of Bisbee.
Grant Ashby, Pima WR: Ashby had two touchdowns and more than 100 yards receiving.
Ty Thompson, Mesquite QB: In a 44-21 win over Marcos De Niza, Thompson ran for a touchdown and passed for three, two of which were caught by Eric Lira.
Noah Schmidt, Hamilton RB: Schmidt ran for three touchdowns in a 46-26 victory over Highland and had a highlight 34-yard reception. Hamilton also received big offensive contributions from quarterback Nicco Marchiol and running back Rodney Clemente.
Brayten Silbor, Chaparral QB: Silbor threw for four touchdowns in a 53-36 win over Casteel.
Jared Williams, Chaparral RB: Williams rushed for four touchdowns in the victory.
Jaheim Wilson-Jones, Gila Ridge WR: Wilson-Jones caught two touchdowns and tallied more than 180 yards receiving in the first half. Quarterback CJ Wiggins also had a strong night with three total touchdowns.
Dillon Simmers, Tanque Verde RB: Tanque Verde earned its first win under Jay Dobyns largely thanks to Simmers’ 168 rushing yards on nine carries.
Jason Stevens, Walden Grove QB: Stevens led the Red Wolves to a 29-28 victory over Sahuaro with four touchdowns and 318 yards through the air.
Elijah Barclay, Salpointe Catholic WR: Barclay caught four touchdowns in a 38-21 win over Mountain Ridge.
Treyson Bourguet, Salpointe Catholic QB: The other end of the connection, Bourguet finished with four touchdown passes.
