1. Chandler (8-0) beat No. 8 Desert Edge 52-0

Chandler will play No. 5 Liberty in the Open Division semifinals.

2. Hamilton (7-1) beat No. 7 Corona del Sol 50-0

Hamilton will play Salpointe Catholic in the Open Division semifinals.

3. Saguaro (5-1) - Season over

Saguaro couldn’t play its first-round Open Division playoff game against Salpointe Catholic because of COVID-19, so its season is over.

4. Centennial (6-3) lost No. 5 Liberty 25-24

A trick play on a two-point conversion delivered the decisive points in Liberty's win over Centennial.

5. Liberty (6-3) beat No. 4 Centennial 25-24

Liberty will play Chandler in the Open Division semifinals.

6. Queen Creek (6-3) lost to No. 10 Chaparral 26-8

Queen Creek, a No. 2 seed, was stunned in the first round of the 6A playoffs.

7. Corona del Sol (8-1) lost to No. 2 Hamilton 50-0

Corona del Sol's season comes to an end. The Aztecs improved from a 16-seed in 6A a year ago to an Open Division team in 2020.

8. Desert Edge (8-1) lost to No. 1 Chandler 52-0

Desert Edge was outmatched against the state's top team.

9. Salpointe Catholic (8-0) - Advanced via forfeit against Saguaro

Saguaro couldn’t play its first-round Open Division playoff game against Salpointe Catholic because of COVID-19, so the Lancers moved on and will face Hamilton in the semifinals.

10. Chaparral (4-2) beat No. 6 Queen Creek 26-8

Chaparral will play Sandra Day O'Connor in the 6A semifinals.

11. Williams Field (5-3) - Season over

The Black Hawks beat No. 12 Casteel 31-28 on Oct. 23. Their three losses came to No. 6 Queen Creek, No. 4 Centennial and Red Mountain. Losing to Red Mountain ended up being a playoff-killing defeat.

12. Casteel (5-4) lost to No. 14 Highland 30-20

Casteel tried a desperation trick play on Friday, which was successful, and the Colts lost to No. 14 Highland in the first round of the 6A playoffs.

13. Boulder Creek (8-1) beat Shadow Ridge 38-22

Boulder Creek will play No. 14 Highland in the 6A semifinals.

14. Highland (6-3) beat No. 12 Casteel 30-20

Highland will play top-seeded Boulder Creek in the 6A semifinals.

15. Campo Verde (5-2) beat Cactus Shadows 38-14

Campo Verde scored 38 unanswered points to end the game.

16. Ironwood (6-2) beat Desert Mountain 35-30

Ironwood recorded an incredible comeback Friday after trailing Desert Mountain 27-7 in the third quarter.

17. Sunrise Mountain (7-2) beat Verrado 35-14

Tommy Arnold scored three touchdowns in Sunrise Mountain's win.

18. Mesquite (6-1) beat Northwest Christian 27-10

Mesquite will play American Leadership Academy (Queen Creek) in the 4A semifinals.

19. Casa Grande (7-1) beat Peoria 47-30

Casa Grande will play Cactus in the 4A semifinals.

20. Basha (6-3) lost to Sandra Day O'Connor 27-21 in OT

Basha's season comes to a close following a first-round playoff defeat against Sandra Day O'Connor. Last year, the Bears were the No. 11 seed in the 6A playoffs. This year, they earned the No. 6 seed.
