Top 20 quarterbacks in CIF Sac-Joaquin Section heading into 2020-2021 football season

SBLive California is previewing the top football teams and players in the state ahead of the 2020-2021 high school football season. Even with the season in doubt, we will continue to highlight the best teams, players and coaches in California.
Here’s a closer look at the Top 20 quarterbacks in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section. The rankings were compiled by SBLive reporter Connor Morrissette.
The main criteria for our quarterback rankings are statistics from the 2019 and 2018 high school seasons relative to team success (on offense) and strength of schedule. Performances in club football or at camps were not taken into consideration.
QB RANKINGS BY SECTION: CENTRAL | LA CITY | NORTH COAST | SAN DIEGO | SOUTHERN
Two 2021 Sac-Joaquin quarterbacks have graduated from high school early to begin their college football careers and therefore aren't eligible to make the list. They are former Oak Ridge quarterback Justin Lamson, who is now at Syracuse University, and former Folsom QB Ari Patu, who enrolled at Stanford.
Here are the Top 20 quarterbacks in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section scheduled to compete if there is a 2020-2021 season.
