Christian Peterson, 3-star safety, commits to UCF over Ole Miss, Pitt, Purdue and Texas A&M

Westlake (Georgia) three-star safety Christian Peterson made his commitment on Saturday afternoon to the Knights

ATLANTA, GEORGIA- The Peach State pipeline of players committing to Gus Malzahn’s UCF Knights continued on Saturday when another Georgia talent made his commitment. 

Westlake (Georgia) senior safety Christian Peterson announced Saturday afternoon via Twitter that he is committing to the UCF Knights. The defensive back is a 3-star rated Class of 2024 prospect according to 247Sports and also had offers on the table from Ole Miss, Pitt, Purdue and Texas A&M.

Last season for Westlake, Peterson proved to be one of the top players for the 9-4 Lions and notched 18 tackles on defense. 

It was about a month to the day that Peterson had visited Orlando for an official visit to when he committed to the Knights. Peterson had offers also from schools like Auburn, Cincinnati, Duke, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Nebraska and Virginia Tech.
