Hitters finish regular season with 8-1 record

The Glenbard West Hitters closed out the regular season on a strong note with a 45-15 conference victory at Hinsdale Central on Saturday afternoon.

The No. 10 team in the SBLive Illinois Power 25 rankings, Glenbard West (8-1) led 7-0 after one quarter and 17-7 at halftime before blowing the game open in the second half. The Hitters scored 14 points in each the third and fourth quarters to pull away.

Hinsdale Central fell to 4-5 with its third loss in four games.
