Nasir Bailey, Ben Davino and Dillan Johnson highlight Illinois wrestlers in latest SBLive Sports national wrestling rankings

Illinois lands three players in the top spots in their weight classes

The latest SBLive Sports national high school wrestling rankings were released on Thursday morning and the Land of Lincoln, fresh off the recent individual state championships in Champaign, is well represented.

St. Charles East junior Ben Davino (126 pounds), Rich Township senior Nasir Bailey (138) and Joliet Catholic junior Dillan Johnson (285) are holding down the top spots in their respective weight classes after winning state titles.

Mt. Carmel senior Sergio Lemley (132) and Washington senior Kannon Webster (144) are both ranked second in their weight classes, while St. Charles East freshman Dominic Munaretto (106) is third in his weight class.

Bailey and Lemley both completed the rare feat of winning their fourth state championship, with the added twist that both moved out of state for their sophomore years to make those accomplishments even a possibility.
