Dowling cruised to the CIML Conference boys cross country championship Wednesday. 

The Maroons tallied 25 points with runner-up Johnston scoring 72. Waukee Northwest totaled 94. 

Dowling senior Jackson Heidesch won the individual title with a 15:31.2 clocking. Teammate Flynn Milligan, also a senior, was second with a time of 15:49.4. Johnston senior Jaxon Plumb was third (15:56.0).
