West Des Moines Dowling running back Ra’Shawd Davis voted SBLive’s Iowa high school athlete of the week

West Des Moines Dowling junior running back Ra’Shawd Davis was voted SBLive’s Iowa High School Athlete of the Week for Sept. 4-10. 

Davis totaled 6,790 votes (44.23%). Iowa City West junior running back Jack Wallace was second with 4,543 votes (29.59%). 

Davis totaled 236 rushing yards on 36 carries with three touchdowns, leading the Maroons past Ankeny, 35-14.
