Cedar Rapids Jefferson running back Ishara Kalolero voted SBLive’s Iowa high school athlete of the week (9/25/2023)

Cedar Rapids Jefferson junior running back Ishara Kalolero was voted SBLive Iowa’s High School Athlete of the Week for Sept. 11-17.

Kalolero totaled 8,419 votes (48.34%). Marion junior wide receiver Kaiden Griffith was second with 5,865 votes (33.67%).

Kalolero had 20 rushes for 157 yards and four touchdowns in the Class 5A fifth-ranked J-Hawks’ 56-12 rout of Des Moines East.
