Episcopal-Baton Rouge tailback Reid Chauvin is the Louisiana High School Athlete of the Week (Sept. 19-25)

Chauvin found the end zone three times in win against Port Allen

Reid Chauvin knew how to get to the end zone in Episcopal-Baton Rouge's win on Sept. 23.

A sophomore tailback, Chauvin scored two rushing touchdowns and also added a receiving TD in the Knights' 38-14 win against Port Allen. He had two of those touchdowns nine seconds apart, as Chauvin had a 57-yard run and a 31-yard TD reception after the Knights recovered a fumble on the ensuing kickoff.

Chauvin also finished the night with 130 yards on eight carries, and had 171 yards of total offense as the Knights won their 25th consecutive regular season game.

For his efforts, Chauvin was voted the SBLive Louisiana Athlete of the Week fcovering Sept. 19-25.
