Opelousas Catholic sophomore receiver Roderick Tezeno voted SBLive Louisiana High School Athlete of the Week for Sept. 4-10

Despite defeat, Tezeno had a big night catching passes for the Vikings

Although his team came up short on the scoreboard, Roderick Tezeno still had a night to remember. 

Tezeno, a sophomore receiver for Opelousas Catholic, caught three touchdown passes from quarterback Mark Collins in a game on Sept. 8. Despite Tezeno's big game, the Vikings were defeated, 39-28, by Ascension Catholic.

For his efforts, Tezeno was voted the SBLive Louisiana High School Athlete of the Week for Sept. 4-10.
