Minnesota boys high school hockey state tournaments seeds, matchups

The 2024 Minnesota (MSHSL) boys high school hockey state tournament begins on Wednesday, March 6. On Saturday, the MSHSL released the seeding for both the Class 1A and Class 2A tournament.

The Class 1A tournament begins on Wednesday, March 6, and the Class 2A tournament begins on March 7.

Class 2A

Rochester Century/John Marshall vs. No. 2 Chanhassen
Cretin-Derham Hall vs. No. 3 Centennial
Elk River/Zimmerman vs. No. 1 Edina
No. 5 Grand Rapids vs. No. 4 White Bear Lake.

Class 1A

New Ulm vs. No. 2 Warroad
Northfield vs. No. 3 St. Cloud Cathedral
Alexandria vs. No. 1 Hermantown
No. 5 Orono vs. No. 4 Mahtomedi
