COLUMBIA, Mo. – The final two days of the Missouri State High School Activities Association wrestling championships concluded on Saturday night with three teams being crowned as champions at Mizzou Arena.
The Liberty boys continued their dominance of the Show-Me State by winning their fourth straight Class 4 championship. Hillsboro's boys captured the first wrestling title in school history after surging past two-time reigning champ Whitfield for the Class 3 crown.
Missouri added a second classification for girls wrestling this season but the Lebanon girls are still the best. The Yellowjackets took home their third straight championship – and fourth in five years – after moving up to the new Class 2.
