Caleb Redd became a hot prospect on the recruiting trail after racking up an impressive 21 sacks during his junior season at De Smet last fall.

A 6-foot-3, 210-pound rising senior edge rusher/outside linebacker, Redd broke out as a prospect during his junior campaign and added scholarship offers from Iowa State, Kentucky, Nebraska, Arizona, Oregon, Wisconsin, USC, Oklahoma and Iowa, among others, in the offseason.

On Wednesday, Redd announced he's headed to the Southeastern Conference as he committed to Kentucky.

Redd attracted scholarship offers from coast to coast following a breakout junior season that saw him earn all-state accoladed after he racked up a team-high 21 sacks as a junior and ranked second on his team with 63 tackles.

He is ranked as the No. 11 prospect in Missouri in the Class of 2024 by the 247Sports Composite along with being rated as the 53rd-best pass rusher and No. 814 prospect overall.

Redd took a visit to Lexington two weeks ago to check out the Wildcats in person and then took a visit to Kansas State.

Now the talented pass rusher is planning to play his college football for Kentucky and chase down SEC quarterbacks.

Here is a look at Redd's junior season highlights:
