Donovan Dent scores game-high 21 points to lead Huskies to state title

SACRAMENTO - Donovan Dent scored a game-high 21 points and Jared McCain added 16 to lead Corona Centennial to a 59-50 victory over Modesto Christian on Saturday night in the CIF State Open Division boys basketball championship at the Golden 1 Center.

Aaron McBride and Devin Williams contributed 10 points each for the Huskies (33-1). Williams also had four blocked shots.

Jamari Phillips led Modesto Christian (30-6) with 20 points and teammate Manasse Itete with 11 points.
