The spring 2021 high school boys basketball season wrapped up on Monday morning with Bonita Vista taking down Shalhevet to capture the Southern California 4-A Regional championship. With the season officially over, here are our final CIF San Diego Section boys basketball rankings of the year.

1. Torrey Pines (30-1)

Torrey Pines

The Falcons beat Cathedral Catholic on a buzzer-beater to capture San Diego's Open Division Championship and added a win against Damien before falling to Etiwanda in the Southern California Open Division Championship game.

2. Cathedral Catholic (17-3)

Obinna Anyanwu Cathedral Catholic

The Dons handed San Marcos their first loss on their way to San Diego's Open Division Championship game. They opted to not play in the CIF SoCal regional playoffs.

3. San Marcos (25-2)

Devon Arlington San Marcos

The Knights lost to Cathedral Catholic in the semifinals of the open division playoffs and lost to Ribet Academy in the SoCal regional playoffs.

4. St. Augustine (14-7)

Isaiah Brickner St. Augustine

St. Augustine lost to Torrey Pines in the semifinals of the San Diego Section Open Division playoffs and lost at St. John Bosco in the SoCal regional playoffs.

5. Santa Fe Christian (20-4)

Trevan Martin Santa Fe Christian

After losing to St. Augustine in the opening round of the San Diego Section playoffs, the Eagles won three straight games in the 1-A SoCal regional playoffs, defeating Heritage Christian, Clovis West, and Capistrano Valley along the way to win the championship.

6. Mater Dei Catholic (18-4)

Melo Sanchez Mater Dei Catholic

The Crusaders beat La Costa Canyon to become San Diego Section Division 1 champions before winning three more to add the 2-A SoCal regional championship to their resume.

7. Bonita Vista (17-7)

Momo Stokes Bonita Vista

The Barons lost to Mater Dei Catholic in the San Diego Section D1 semifinals. Bonita Vista then made a run in the 3-A SoCal regional playoffs, beating Shalhevet to win the championship on Monday morning in California's last basketball game of the year.

Alex Crawford Coronado

The Islanders beat Orange Glen in the San Diego Section D2 Championship and matched up with the Patriots again in the 4-A SoCal Championship and won on a buzzer-beater from senior Alex Crawford.

Tyson Robinson El Camino

The Wildcats lost to San Marcos in the San Diego Section Open Division quarterfinals and fell at home to Los Altos in the 2-AA SoCal regional playoffs.

10. Carlsbad (14-10)

Mason Bowers Carlsbad

Carlsbad lost to Torrey Pines in the open division playoffs and won their first round game of the 2-A regional playoffs against Murrieta Valley before losing to eventual champion Mater Dei Catholic in the second round.
