California high school football recruiting roundup: Fresno State adds commitments from Jalen Moss and Jomarion Briggs

In the past week, dozens of high school football stars across California picked up offers. Fresno State added two talented senior playmakers from Northern California. Here’s a quick recap of everything you need to know from this past week in California high school football recruiting.

COMMITMENTS

Fresno State picked up commitments from two seniors in NorCal, first getting a commitment from Menlo-Atherton receiver Jalen Moss, before adding Lincoln (Stockton) defensive back Jomarion Briggs the next day.

Inglewood quarterback Justyn Martin announced his commitment to UCLA and celebrated by tossing 13 touchdown passes in a game against Morningside the next day.

St. John Bosco interior offensive lineman Tyson Molio'o committed to Boise State, choosing the Broncos over UNLV.

Orange Lutheran running back Desmin Jackson committed to Dartmouth. He's been a dynamic threat out of the Lancers backfield this season, scoring nine touchdowns during the regular season.

Torrey Pines DB/WR Wyatt Gardner committed to UC-Davis on Thursday. He's scored 12 total touchdowns for the Falcons this season while averaging 33 yards per catch.

El Camino two-way lineman Mackavelli Malotumau committed to Eastern Washington on Thursday night after officially visiting last weekend.

Serra (San Mateo) offensive lineman Drew Azzopardi followed the lead of teammate Hassan Mahasin and committed to San Diego State.

Class of 2023 Oaks Christian running back Johnny Thompson announced his commitment to USC, becoming the Trojans' first commitment in the 2023 class.
